Was over  last week and its like stepping into another universe in the bookies over there. Can have a pint in them, hot food, cafe facilities nice comfy couches, about as modern as you could get and absolutely spotless.

Compared to here they stink of piss, are very dirty, lucky if you can buy a kit kat, and thats only if you go into the fancy inner city ones.

Why are the British getting treated like **** in comparison? The experience in Spain actually made it enjoyable to visit a bookies again for me.

Scummy Benidorm.

They had fruit machines, I can't remember if they had FOBT's though.  I noticed SIS covers the Turf TV tracks over there too. They were showing Goodwood on SIS.

Illegal?

It was a Bwin branded betting shop. I also seen Ladbrokes and numerous Spanish firms I didn't recognise.

theres a pub in lanzarote along the front takes juicy bets.i was there for a week just after cheltenham.was amazed at the level of betting.
tons common place with lots of monkeys going in.maybe it was just the crowd that were in for that week(waterford a lot of them) but the lads taking the bets didnt seem too worried.one guy has ton ew a 16/1 shot.btn a short head.they never even looked up..struck me as a good option for me in years to come if you got in with the right pub.i forget the name of the pub.i didnt know there were any legal betting shops in spain.?

Casinos in the uk should be allowed to run sportsbooks like vegas - instead of our bookies try to imitate casinos with pathetic roulette machines.
