Why any trainer or owner would want to let this joker ride in a Group race is beyond me.  By all means let him ride on the AW in Class 5 and 6 races.  That is about the limit of his ability.

He done the same thing on Mount Athos on Thursday.  Never gave either horse a chance in hell of winning or even getting competitive.

it was about an average ride by spencers standards, almost every horse he rides gives the field a big start. on the odd occasion he wins from this position all the  pundits say" masterfull ride by spencer", hes  either totally useless(the most likely explanation" or corrupt(also possible but less likely) made no financial difference to me as I backed hot snap who was just not good enough.

Said in the thread for this race. I'm backing Just the Judge hope Spencer doesn't do anything stupid. He loves to sit 15l off the pace and hopes the horse can pick up going last to first.

You just cannot ride Group 1 races like that.  It's completely ridiculous the way he does it time after time.
