Agreed, I think that when they started they estimated 20/25 years to get over the teething problems so at this moment in time they are probably way ahead of schedule....a big thumbs up.

Only problem is that they seemed to be regressing as a company rather than progressing.

They can afford to operate in a climate of trial and error because they have a bottomless pit of money to go at.

It isn't used that often in the private sector because their first big mistake is usually their last.

This Betfair website is a mess, it's not user friendly and it is far too cluttered.

There's an old saying ''if it isn't broken then don't mend it.''

That's where they went wrong, they kept trying to mend something that wasn't broken.

They became a public company and had to grow or die. They can't expand overseas which they had hoped for and the original business model just doesn't work for a plc if the large majority of their customers are in GB and Ireland.
