You'd never think the horse had been gambled all day given the way he rode it. Only got busy when the winner joined him. If he'd of kicked sooner he's of won that. Horse was coming back at the winner at the finish.

I feel sorry for anyone who joined in the gamble. Let down by a poor ride.

I think he thought he was going to win easy. Only got busy with it when it was too late. Feel sorry for backers.

Winner was eased at end so second made to look like it was closing. Best horse (helped by a good draw) won imo.

I don't know what is going on this season but there seems to be far more poor rides than in previous ones. Could it be that the jockeys, having spent all winter on the all weather tracks, can't adjust to the different demands of the flat courses?

Gamble perhaps, but a 2yo nothing race at Windsor, what volume do you think was involved...?

barstool I agree with your first point, although I think its more to do with the fact that bar one or two we have a very poor crop of flat jockeys at the moment.

Dunno why
a) anyone would have their balls on a horse first time out that might not be 'knocked about'
b) why anyone would stick the one dimensional George Baker up on one they fancied at a front end track like Winzer
c) why people want to 'join in a gamble' when those in the know have had 16's or bigger & you are looking at about 4's
