Cara Gina won't be any value so at about 6 for a place I will take a chance with Comptonspirit. Brian Baugh has gone 105 days without a win but has turned out 17 seconds in that time and I fear this may be another. The mare always runs well this time of year and has become really well handicapped. Last won off 76 here, she is now off 65, add in the 5ib claim (a lad who rides well for this yard) and we have a decent place bet. 5 wins at tracks with uphill finishes, needs it good to firm so lots of ticks in the right boxes.

Thanks. No good backing the odds on shots. Carnage the last few days for those who do.
I'm backing the favourite but would prefer night trade to place over compton spirit. Compton spirit was 1/2 length front on same terms last year but the better recent form would sway it towards night trade, plus the trainer in better form too.
There are good Even money shots and bad, I think this will hose up. Impossible not to be impressed last couple of runs. GL
On Mandy Lexi at 22/1 from this morning so... would be nice.
Night Trade each-way at 8s has to be a decent bet.

Money around for Best Be Careful at Newbury but didn't show much. It lloked like a low draw was an advantage though in that race, so is my speculative pick.
Call me mad, but total rag Comptonspirit comes out best in my ratings
