Had some great messages re stuff to do in new york (esp dr gonzo).
I have filled a few days in terms of planning (baseball, open tennis)
The horse racing at saratogo is looking hard work ie too far away. Anyone got any other ideas for the other couple of days?
Greyhound track?

make sure you visit monmouth park horses, catch the ferry from South Street Seaport (downtown manhattan), they lay on a bus from the terminal straight to the track, really pretty and some decent racing and a nice day out with a few drinks on the ferry to either celebrate or drown your sorrows on the way back

It's a cracking city so much to do there. Had family in Brooklyn and queens but sadly they both moved on.
