fast ground , billy nash stating yesterday he was surprised horse was going to run today as their had been no rain and conditions were the same, knew something was up when tommy stack was saying he hoped the horse had got over the royal ascot trip , seeing as it did not run he was getting the excuse ready

The horse is ground dependent, not exactly any secret after its abortive trip to Ascot when it was well advertised that it needed some give, so why the surprise it was withdrawn today...?
