I don't rate the man as a decent jockey. He rides too many BAD rides during his races. Wentworth was flying at the finish. Best horse in the race and it didn't win. A very POOR ride

Fair enough,gman...........whatever was in his head he was utterly wrong.
As for the draw, yesterday he was drawn on the far side and made a ridiculous sideways move to the stand side, today he's drawn on the stand side and takes his horse behind everything to get towards the far side.
Is he back on the pop ?

I don't think Hughesie did anything wrong the horse was poorly drawn (jockeys always place a lot of importance to the draw particularly in big fields) The pace was on other side, horse lacks a bit of pace at this level to get in contention Hughes was working it over 2 furlongs out little effect till inside final furlong catching tiring horses made it look bad, Horse defo needs further to be seen at his best imo and i backed it without taking these factors into account but there you go that's my fault. Hughes said at the start of the week his best chance of a winner at Ascot was on BUNKER on Saturday !! shows you how hard it is to win any of these races.

I backed it and thought it was good at the weights--I heard in the media it had got lazy and the 6 furlong run last was to wake him up a bit-------------when you see the view from inside the track on channel 4 it was clear that when Hughes asked him to go it took about half a furlong to get going and the rest is history--I'm disappointed but there are any amount like this during Ascot week

horses don't come back too the field so easly when the ground is dry but he had the horse way too far back in the earlier part off the race his switch off at the back style early doors ,does not suit this track on faster ground ,that aint once twice this horse has had a shocker it even states in the sporting life given a nightmare ride :-] you find a lot off winners at ascot stay a bit further because off the standard off horses running i.e they normally run at a good clip making it a true run race and a lot off the horses dont see out the trip i. milers tend too win 7 f races etc but it is also important too be bear the pace you just cannot switch a horse at the back for the 1st couple off fur cos when you try too make up the ground ,the competition is hot and they have already gone making it impossible too real them in today was a lesson in how not too ride that track ,just cant help feeling having said that the horse was wanted it was that bad !

I am a big fan but all week he has looked weak/outbattled in finishes, panicked and made bad switches and held up horses too far off the pace.
I think he will be doubting himself right now and worth bearing in mind if punting him but expect the class jockey he is to reappear as soon as he bangs a winner in.

why would u drop a horse out last behind a wall of horses when there is 10 acres of room to your left? horse could not get into its stride as hughes was constantly angling it for a run.
