Not many will be be brave enough to take on the mighty O'brian horse in the first race at ascot. but I am convinced this favourite is nowhere near justifiable fav. compared to the winner of the first yesterday. So i'm guna throw caution to the wind and go back to basics with a trainer that very seldom fails to produce a winner or two at royal ascot. Mark Johnston's Ifwecan just might relish the drop back to 5 furlongs AND a return to ASCOT where he overcame some pre-race antics and in running misbehaviour to win here on his penultimate start. (flinched in the paddock and hung badly left. drawn near left hand rail this time.) Wasn't completely disgraced last time out at epsom when stepped up to 6 furlongs finishing 5 lengths 4th but had every chance until the extra furlong took its toll. Could be considered by many as a stab in the dark but at 22/1 has got to be worth a flutter and STRONG EW value.
