7 different jockeys too, and none of them stars.

Brilliant I love the way channel 4 followed Richard (I'm so cool it hurts) Fahey around and yet lil Brian takes them all to school, one of the better trainers we got now not blessed with the money horses but gifted with ability.

Anyone like to explain to me how he's suddenly found that golden touch after years of been a journeyman with the odd good horse?.
By:
I had Racy and Twelve strings in a win double yesterday.
Luckily took racy ew at bigger prices too. |

Seems to have had a purple patch over the last week
6 winners, 3 2nds and 2 3rds. Looking at the last few years stats, from the regular riders, if you avoid those ridden by Eaves and Swift you'd be well in profit. |

buying better horses and is training them well. must of learned how to spot good horses, years of experience paying off now.
By:
I can't think of many better trainers out there.

somebody somwehere had a nice ew Super Heinz..
By:
he gets the best out of horses, who although look well handicapped on their old form have lost their will and drive to win.

Hard to say who is the better trainer with other people´s hasbeens these days - Ellison or O´Meara? Both are brilliant at bringing them back.
By:
he bought one of Johnston, Becausewecan. was entered in a hurdle a couple of months back but never ran, no other decs since as far as i have seen. went sour with Johnston, had a long break, hopefully nothing has happened to it and he still has it. looks one he will get a race out of.

Trainers who suddenly find a magic formula to improve other peoples cast offs usually sets my alarm bells ringing, especially when the said trainer was just a mere run of the mill journeyman for years?.

Pravda Street and Racy were the only two i backed
![]() close but no cigar but the apprentice ploy working wonders |
By:
He had a great day
![]() only wish I'd picked him as my trainer of the day in the morning ![]() |
By:
always had him as a average trainer never backed one of his really or look out for him but that's what is happening to the flat its what makes em run faster when you want them to
By:
Always wary of him but then again they weren't for 3 & 4 k races yesterday
By:
he is a superb trainer if I could afford a horse he would be my trainer just brilliant at his job
By:
Think Koo and Dan Hardcore are very good judges !
By:
Dan surely sees by now how much an edge the apprentice game gives them in these big handicaps
By:
Superb trainer? it took him 20 something years to become a superb trainer, did he actually find the end of the rainbow all of a sudden?
By:
dont think hes won the pitmans derby yet - watch this space.
By:
he is not a punters trainer and as such will not be good in punters eyes
By:
The guy needs investigating?
By:
After it's non-run at Haydock recently he could well be lining up Palazzo Bianco for 'The Plate'. The horse ran in the race last year, quite well fancied at 7/1 when trained by Gosden. It was tailed off in what was desperate ground.
