Not often I wish ill on someone but I will make an exception after watching the replays of that. Utterly disgraceful from Durcan.

He's not known as Dead Durcan 'The riding corpse' for nothing FFS.

Jockeys are getting away with it all the time with 3rd placed horses.

Pulled it so fancied stablemate could get placed.
No other excuse.will the stewards inquire.?

Could you also phone and complain about the ride Fallon gave Hoof It at York in Aug 2010 and did likewise. Nobody said fa that day and it was even more blatant.

The Stewards held an enquiry to consider why Ted Durcan, the rider of BARREN BROOK, unplaced, had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post and finished fifth beaten a head for fourth place. Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the race they noted his explanation that he was denied a clear run in the closing stages of the race.

LOLOLOLOL, denied a clear run my ar*e, are these stewards blind??????????? any lesser know jockey would have received a forced holiday

I cannot comment, haven't seen the head on, looked a bit too obvious from the side.

Not just me then, watched the first time thought v dodgy,m then now just watched replay, just as disgusted. No need for a head on IMO, especially as stable mate was gifted the place?

The stewards at York should be ordered to Portman Square,
they are either , blind,clueless or *******

He's not a jockey I like but it clearly got hampered close to the line. Anyone saying anything else will hope he doesn't read this thread and then organise a lawyer.

I also didn't play in the race celtic son but having watched the replay you clearly need to see an optician...and rapid. He eased the horse with no horse around him except the horse that finished 4th which was right next to him.
There is no error involved there, it was blatant and these stewards are killing our game.
dwyer was nearly lynched in india for far less than that.

Celtic son...it didnt seem to appear to suffer significant interference to cause Ted to ease up, this is not however  a suggestion of any skulduggery its simply an observation

Backed it pre race and in running when it settled well (by its standards) durcan done everything right up until approx 2 out when he made a couple of 50/50 decisions that backfired and was made to look silly close home when easing for a place (imo the only 'crime' he's guilty of, the rest was down to bad luck/circumstance, make no mistake it was 'off' today and was just unlucky (i know that doesn't wash with the forum massive but its true!)

nothing to see here other than a journeyman jock confirming his averageness
poor 'spittin' will have to get it out the way for a bit now :)
