Salsify mighty short odds against lots of quality rivals. Is he really that much superior to Tammy's Hill , Mossy Joe & Chapoturgeon .....

On Rumbury Grey e/w.

Tremendous performance, you have to be impressed by that.

Well done the Mossey Joe backers.

Talked myself out of backing MJ but the voice in my head was telling me he was potentially much smarter than the fav on this ground.

Gary O'Brien on ATR is a mouth.  Before race slated Mossey Joes form.  Made to look like a d ick now.  Not once after the race did he say he got it completely wrong.  Carried on like he tipped up the winner.  Another typical pundit.  NO difference in any of them

Said on the other threat that Mossey Joe was the threat, it was the progressive horse and was well capable of improving further which it did.

Have to start questioning Sweeney's tactics of keeping the horse towards the back for half the race. It nearly backfired at cheltenham and it backfired today (although I suspect Mossey Joe simply wasn't going to be beaten regardless).

He was in second top be fair with a circuit to go. His problem was he knew he would have nothing if he went after the leader too early. Mossy Joe's only danger tonight was if he could get into his usual rhythn on the quicker ground. He did except for the last. Still can't believe the sp. Backed it five times since last night and never bigger than the eventual sp!
