They won't do anything but the winner was in a bad position until he barged his way out and although it was far enough out for the 2nd to still win anyway, the bump not only got that horse unbalanced but it stopped him from keeping the winner in and considering the minimal winning distance, had the winner sat trapped in behind for a few more strides or had to come around to the outside then things might have panned out differently.........Then add to that the winner carried the 2nd across the course too and probably caused it to cover more ground than it was beaten by.
Yes I am talking through my pocket as I was on the 2nd and would be peeved if on the winner and it got thrown out going by today's standards when you can get away with almost anything, but it still doesn't change the fact the jockey barged his way out of a bad position. Well done to the OP though. |
