I'm off to Bangor tomorrow, looking forward to a very decent hunters chase in the 5:20.

Put a line through Donttellmother, it looks to be miles off from competing here.

Benefit Night looks like a horse that has seen its best days past failing two win two pretty mediocre races this year and pulling up in the other. Paddy Gerety has given us some terrific rides on Cottage Oak, so it's hard to discount it completely though.

Round Tom won the other week against pretty mediocre opposition. Hasn't really raised its level previously to beat strong opposition like That's Rhythm.

Surenaga was well beaten at course and distance last year against the favourite. The recent victory it had at Ludlow looked to me as a result of other horses under-performing on the day.

That leaves That's Rhythm, undoubtedly the form horse, winning 4 of the last 7 races and placing in two of the other higher class races. Has the benefit of a 7lb and has won 6 times from 7 races over this course and distance!

Hoping the old boy can do it once again tomorrow and hoping the odds won't be too skinny.

Thoughts, Koi?

The weather forecast for Bangor is bleak tomorrow, That's Rhythm has won on soft and heavy.

ive no real view but thats rhythm broke the clock at kingston blount last week on this ladies first ride on the beast.

If biddick wasnt on round tom it would be a 5-1 chance.

this is im sure y will agree koi a brill race ... but so many many variables not least the ground .... will it rain or wont it ... im seriously thinking of a big bet for me on Round Tom .but i do know its water related if it rains connections confidence is likely to be moderated .i dont know the collateral form lines all i do know is that it is fancied to beat its rivals .if the other front runner doesnt go off it front it will certainly make it a true run race by attempting to make every yard .its unusual for me but im quite nervous ...must be the ground doubts

Had a class day at Bangor, that last winner made a good day a fantastic one Grin

To the forumites who drove Koikeeper off this forum, as you can guess from his posts, he was on the winner. The critics have probably done their nuts in long ago and quit, but if any still remain and they're reading, they should be ashamed of yourselves.

Glad you enjoyed your day at Bangor reveley.  I agree with you that it is a great shame that koi no longer posts his previews.  I used to bet in Hunter Chases back in the 70's and 80's but lost interest in them for some reason.  Koi's previews rekindled my interest and I welcome all positive contributions.  It does annoy me when people post merely to criticise a selection without offering a viable alternative selection.  I wish koi would reconsider and start posting his previews again.  His overall record speaks for itself and that is what really matters.
