2 of the previous winners were from Hannon's anyway and the winner was betaen comfortably enough by a decent one of theirs last time out. I think they had a pretty good idea of how they stood with Oriel. |

I'll say one thing. For all his muddled thinking during the race he managed to get his mind together to realise any bans today would have ruled him out of the Derby meeting when he was thinking about not riding out for second for a moment there.

Yup he was considering not making an effort but managed to just do enough to look authentic.  |
