It is strange that she was administered a course of steroids so close to the 1,000gns,as MAZ would surely have known that had she won,and she is a class filly,that she would test positive in post race tests.Every trainer knows that medication stays in the bloodstream for a period of time,so it is very odd that she was on steroids so close to the race. She was top notch as a 2yo,so you ask yourself why she needed a course of steroids in the first place,unless she wintered badly,and didn't make the normal improvement in physique from 2-3. Surely he would have said to himself ,such and such a date is the deadline for use,so that her blood is clean,and would pass any forthcoming blood test. Some things just don't add up.
