What's the lowest price you're allowed to back it without it being stealing?
By:
starfish and coffee
When: 01 May 13 16:07
It is not the price that is the stealing it is the placing of bets 10 yards before the line with a 3 sec advantage  i.e when no one else has got a chance

Dan call me old fashioned, but the game is about studying the form, watching the vids, being a good judge and putting the work in,not clicking a mouse on one that has all but crossed the line.

They can't make the game pay any other way as they know feck all about it.

Can't abide em

Dan, I believe the cut off point is 1.32 - everything above is forming an opinion, anything below is theft.

You cannot win looking for winners as stated earlier -

The only way to win , backing horses , is to select horses that prices go off bigger than they should be .

Lower than that gerard, Warwick often finds good things at 1.12 before the race iho!

As for laz commenting on me.that is really funny.

Hunty I do agree it's about making a living, but most of the 1.01 guys know zero about the game. Each to their own,but still have zero respect for them

that's not always the case trd, a lot of the early players came in with a strong horse racing background and just found other ways to exploit the exchange, when in running took off it was just a natural progression and those that had the chance took it, taking an edge whether it be systems, pic speed, knowledge, whatever is to me a no brainer

elise, that's why I said most. When Betfair came on the scene we all changed the way we played. I've been doing this full time for 15 years,I don't play exactly as I did pre Betfair, because I don't have to. Having said that I don't have to be backing horses near the line or laying fallers to make it pay
