And dont ANY of you tell me that youve worked out the winner.Has the fav trained on?winners of 4 runner races,or a winner at Dundalk.or a 14-1 shot, that won a handicap!!!reduces this race to a "best guess",we should all boycott this race.

tbf, your post is that desperate, i will give you another pointer.

a handicapper says Toronado would have won 6/10 of the last 2000 guineas if he produced the form of his craven win.

lets just say this would make him a 0.95/1 chance of winning the guineas on average. he is available to back at 3.65. hth

and by the way, it takes a good post that manages to insult the majority of punters, but you have done it. well done

How's the ground, Cristoforo Columbus could run a big race if it's proper quick ground. Big Toronado fan, would like to see him win but unlikely to have a bet at the moment.

Taipan, dont be silly,it wasnt an insult, merely a logical conclusion that any conclusion with the information available must be based on a "best Guess".
Many Classic winners many years ago could have been picked on visual evidence of their trials. They used to win their trials e.g Dancing Brave, winning by 5 lengths a 4 lengths etc,not as we seem to get these days by necks and heads.Mill Reef won the Greenham in a hack canter, and was available at 7/2 for the Derby.
My comments need to be acted upon before racing implodes into boring mediocrity.Trainers should be told when asking if its ok to give their horse a work gallop after racing at a track,"NO,run them in a bloody race!!!!!".
Imagine if Sprinter Sacre and Bobsworth et al turned up at Chelters without a run in the current season?,intolerable. So why are we being submitted to this dreadful poor excuse for a Classic race?,and when are the BHA going to do something,or for that matter ANYTHING about ANYTHING!!!.When is the flat season actually going to start?

Taipan, form in a 4 runner race is irrelevant, its likely to be run at a false pace anyway. Its as bad as a once well known old commentator saying about the Predominate stakes at Goodwood that the winner was "very impressive".
It was a 3 runner race, and one horse run so wide coming into the straight as to put him out of contention,so the winner beat "ONE HORSE!!!",how on earth can it have beeen concluded that he was impressive!!!!.Yet people now overuse the word, suggest they view Seabird winning the Derby,or Mill Reef "walking" round Tattenham corner.

Handicappers and ratings merchants all end up doing their brains in eventually

ok pipedreamer. i think what you're getting at is a little deeper than "best guess" for the guineas
