I know Cannon was in the wrong there and the winner will probably get thrown out but wtf was Brennan doing going for that gap when he had all the room in the world on the outside?
Often heralded as a top class jockey I think he's decidedly average.
One point is that Brennan had control of his mount which you cannot say was true for Cannon - but Brennan didnt help by not trying to reduce the deficit at the line. I think it highly likely that Jack's Gray would have won were it not for being shoved into the rails, and i think physical contact took place which helps Brennan's cause.
I could see it being one those infuriating cases where the local stewards dont have the courage to disqualify the first past the post but an appeal later turns this around but those betting on Jack's Gray still lose their money
