I have to refresh 3 or 4 times a race now been like that for last 6 days here.

You just can't do that in flat races , there is not enough time. Sort it out Betfair.

Has BCM2 been made redundant or something  - he was the only person in Betfair that looked as though they gave a sh*t.

Yarmouth seemed ok here.

It's very subtle Wes - it does decay during the race so you might be 3.5 secs ahead as they leave the stalls but only 2 (if you're lucky) when they reach the line.

Ok BB, will take a bit more notice for the next.

Was nothing as drastic as we had the other day.

I emailed them about Sunday's really poor video service. At first I received a reply that had absolutely nothing (literally) in the body of the email so I emailed again asking why Betfair didn't issue an apology and also what happened to BCM2. They said they had passed the email on to the relevant team about the apology but there was no mention of BCM2.

Whilst I know only too well how annoying it is when it doesn't work properly, in the name of balance... I have been playing for the last hour and not had any problems which suggests there maybe other factors as well as BF involved. I have had the odd stuttery picture, but nothing that has cost me any time - just over 4secs in front of ATR pre and post race.

The pausing is constant - worst at Yarmouth, then Lingfield and Bath is fractionally the best. Betfair's contempt for their customer does on surprise given their record but to just ignore people having problems is extraordinary.

Just worked it out - my wireless router doesn't like to be overheated and it was quite close to the back of the PC which I have just noticed was rather warm. Moved it away and seems to be much better. Simple things!

Still seems to be pausing though.

bilbo , try a " internet reliability test "

also , run a virus scan using whichever one you have

best to run a scan with "malware antimalwarebytes" aswell to be sure , it is free to download

Thanks rcing but I've got a Mac and really don't think it's necessary. Everything else and I mean everything works absolutely perfectly . I'm sure it's not me . Are you really not getting any pauses ?
By:

ahh ok . but still worth doing a reliability test

no pauses here

Indeed, hardware issues are worth taking into account.

It's worth checking how hot your processor gets if you're using a laptop.
