More to the point has the mug any concept of value.Backed the pricewise (advertised at 10/1) selection at 13/2 (rock bottom price) Away We Go on Saturday and had a wonderful conversation with his mummy...

The likes of this complete chancer get a gig at the Racing Post...

Where did it all go wrong....

The Racing Post, and its bookmaker business partners/owners are trying to create a perception that betting should not be seen as an activity where punters should have any expectations of winning.

They want to create a culture where punting and losing, but having 'entertainment' while doing so, is what punters should expect from the betting experience.

This is why Birch, Palmer, and the seemingly endless stream of woefully unprofitable 'experts', who do their money but have a story to tell, are now its poster boys, imo...

millhouse - very very true , you are correct in your different thinking .

What gets me about Birch in th RFO is the fact he needs to tell you how much he bets --- 300 ew , 450 ew .

Whats that all about ?

and Palmer put in his pre Masters column---if you are not looking for entertainment factor--on his advised bets---then just lump on USA winner at 13-8---he even got that wrong---milhouse you make a really good case

Case proven. If Birchy can get those amounts on with "Bookmakers" then he must be a massive loser.

Or because he writes for the Racing Post is he allowed to get such bets on.

Or Spooky..Does he put them on his mothers name....He has taken to mentioning her in his column.I bet she is a class act...Love

Love to know the truth of this character.Claims to be driving round in big Mercs, several holidays a year to the states. He aint funding it with his punting & cant be earning much of a salary with a paper with the posts circulation.
