dark lane given an awful ride...should have won
By:
Was it matched at 1.2 ?
By:
very strange that spic and span didnt go low in-running there
By:
yes it was jimeen
By:
Well that should be a lesson to you striding edge, never ever leave up a bet in running on this site. You will only get matched when the race is over
By:
Never seen Spic And Span ridden so frantically
![]() I wonder if they had the double on ![]() |
By:
Very nice of Luke Morris to let them up the inside there - mcoy would have been odds on to veer over and take their ground

thats not right at all imo
if you have a view about a horse not finding in a finish, plenty will go short enough and not win ?? this occasion the horse just had enough class to get up |
By:
The reason spic and span didnt go low in running is because it never looked a certainty,if it had won then of course it would have went low.

tango sky is good horse

By:
"Jockeys Race" if ever I've seen one.
Fitzpatrick had no intention of winning that (no surprise given the drift). Tango Sky backed as if defeat was out of the question. |

If you keep leaving bets up in running then you are a million to one striding edge, you really are. Its food and drink for people who can see the race before everyone else. When you were matched there, the race was already over.
By:
i thought it would be a ding dong finish with evans horse
plenty do go low and get beat, i know from experience the big no no is trying to place such bets during the race |
By:
Of course plenty go low and get beat, but sadly for people leaving bets up,not enough of them. Its going to cost you long term, thats a certainty.
By:
what price are you saying this works for
your theory is that track players clean up on all the short prices? what price do you think is the boundary |
By:
I'm not trying to be smart here striding edge,i am speaking from experience. I hate to see people being robbed and in this case, thats what happened. You were robbed, the race was over when you were matched, and you would never have been matched if it hadnt won. What i am saying is no price works and there is no boundary, what i am saying is that track players have a huge advantage and should win if they have any idea, and they mostly do. The big difference is that when you leave up a bet in running you are willing to lay in running no matter what the circumstances, the in track players will only bet when they consider the price available to be a wrong one.

By:
ok i'll keep your advice in mind jimeen.
By:
this sort of bet would usually only be for a horse i thought would look like winning but not find whats expected.
this is the type track players would not have that big an advantage on imo. |
By:
interesting though
cheers |

Just try it for a two week trial period and see how you get on,place some notional bets in running on horses you think may finish tamely and see how many would have been matched, and how many would you have collected on. Best of luck to you.

i always thought it was the track players getting their fingers burned on the very short ones beat in running
![]() i cannot see how anyone would be backing the really skinny odds on shots away from the track boys with the obvious delays ![]() |
