Never won in Spring, never jumped a fence in public, is a much better horse on a soft surface, and stepping up half a mile to 21F for the first time. Yes he's head and shoulders above these on ratings, but I would not be rushing in at his prohibited odds in a novice chase. GL to those that do though, he's done me plenty of favours in the past, and hopefully he can make a nice start to his chasing career.

Since 2009, according to Raceform, Tom George record with first time chasers reads 7 winners from 60 runners (11.7% strike rate for 28% loss)
Of the 16 shortest priced horses up to 4/1, only 2 won. Of those 16, 3 fell (all in the top 6 shortest prices) and another 3 failed to complete including a PU and UR. |

I have afeeling we could see some carnage here, I would take WELL HELLO THERE as the e/w chance but could see bafan republic and about thyne bieng brough into the e/w market with some jumping errors from those at the head of the market
