From 31 January 2013, customers with an existing Betfair account shall not be permitted to open a new account with Betfair.
Any customer that already has more than one Betfair account on 31 January 2013 is required to nominate a single Betfair account to use across Betfair’s products by contacting the Betfair Helpdesk. Customers that continue to operate multiple Betfair accounts after 31 January 2013 will have their accounts ‘linked’ and managed accordingly. This may affect the extent to which bets can be placed on the Betfair Sportsbook by such customers. |

I didn't know that, elise. Is there any published detail?
When I play in running where everything is done under time pressure the dynamic profit/liability figures displayed are obviously skewed by the pre race business done. I simply want to separate them out. ![]() |

in t&cs it now says;
Can I open more than one Betfair account? Updated 13/02/2013 03.11 PM No, we only allow one account per customer. Since you can use your existing Betfair account for all your activities on Betfair it is not necessary to open additional accounts. If you have forgotten your username or password of your existing account, please find here further details on how to retrieve the details. If our system recognizes any duplicate account, we will suspend it and you will need to contact us to arrange a withdrawal of money (through the same method you used to deposit). If you believe that you have not opened a duplicate account, or would like to open multiple accounts for any reason, please contact us. |

Thanks, Elise.
I'm surprised others dont need to compartmentalise their different betting strategies. |

loper, sometime back 'somebody' on here had a spreadsheet or program or something like that - that you could 'put' your history in and it segmented it into what you wanted - ie IR - not IR - courses etc , some you could see the figures from different types of your betting, not sure if something like that helps IF we could track it down?

Yes, guys.
There was a chap at Betfair, Morne, South African, a really nice and helpful guy. I doubt he still works there under the current regime. |

By:
i never asked, but sure i read that they could also supply a track breakdown for inrunning, could have been andyl who mentioned that but i may be wrong

in the back of my mind elise - I have that down to The Magican1
|
|

and you may well be right on that one lol

I spent a morning with Morne at Hammersmith Towers, creating the very profiles you mention. You can break things down using loads of different parameters including splitting prerace from inrunning bets, by track, by race type, etc., etc.
The software definitely exists. My original post, though, was simply to be able to manage my liabilities dynamically in play. As I see it the only way to make pre race and inrunning mutually exclusive is to have 2 separate windows open that display each exclusively. And that implies 2 differentiating accounts. |
