Small trainer wins a bumper by 20 Lengths Mullins agent trys to buy it but the trainer says 'come back after he has a 2nd run and i'll talk to you''. Then it wins its 2nd bumper by 10 which could have been 20 he sells it and tells them you'll never get him off the bit he'll pull the whole way around. By a stallion that gets 15-20 mares a year. Ruby says ''byjaus i'm not weak but i couldn't hold him. The further he goes the futher he pulls away Ted said he'd hate to ride it but is as good as novice he's seen and Ruby agrees and so do i...the most impressive mnovice since Golden Cygnet IMO

Dont want to bring you down from your clouds but i can remember thinking the same thing about a horse that made its bumper debut at newbury trained by p.nicholls called CORNISH REBEL he looked like a future monster,It went to chelts for the champion bumper won by the pipe trained liberman and finished tailed off after that never looked like the same horse.
^ Apart from finishing 3rd in a royal and sun alliance chase and then being a nose away from winning a Scottish national.

Bumper Wins were in France, and his time today was just outside Hurricane Fly's, and that race was towed along at a good clip the Thousand Stars. SO on time the new sensation routed Rock on Ruby!!!!!
Think the 2,000 euros fee for the French sire will be going up soon.
sometimes you see performances that that although aren't against opposition of any great note....you still know that the horse is going to be a monster and un de sceaux is one of them, i'm surprised he's not in the champion hurdle market on here already.
I wonder will they try to get him to settle or just let him run the way he runs, they say the thank don't empty.
