I watched this race from down by the last fence at Perth. Rouge Et Blanc unseated down the far side and lolloped back riderless at a rather leisurely pace. Looked OK when he passed me, if seemingly a bit lost! It was Hazy Tom who took a nasty fall at the last. He was winded and the course staff spent a fair time pouring water over him to cool him down. He tried to get up about 5 minutes after the fall, but couldn't find enough energy. He then got to his feet a few minutes later, passing the stand to applause from the crowd.
Young sparky took a fall in the previous event at the last and was also down winded for while. Eventually got up and walked back OK.

RN, watch the race again. REB fell at the first in the straight while running riderless. He slowed into it, looked to refuse, but went head first over landing on his neck/back, in the process kicking the sponsors boards away from the fence. It looked really bad.
