Said a Wolverhampton steward as he collected his winnings and cocaine.

Laughable. Helped Just Lille get round the bend because he was worried he'd be 1st or 2nd if not. Then managed to get trapped in behind 2 horses and then was incredibly easy on the horse in the home straight. Made no difference to me but was shocking.

I hope Betfair are going to be investigating the layers there given the drift in the market.

"Wolverhampton Sir"

The Stipendary Steward accepted the explanation and the envelope.

Be surprised if stewards don't have questions to ask about Dontpaytheferryman in 3.55 Wolv.

@davidjashforth Any reason why, horse badly out of form and runs badly again. If you can tell me where to run next to get it going tell me

It did run badly.

But unfortunately for James the other horses were running badly(er).

Fortunately it was Wolverhampton.

@koosracingclub Thoughts on James Doyle's riding in the final 3f? Didn't want the place at all. Didn't even try

The drift was incredible as was the ride. Disgusting.

Dont think the drift was that much, out of form over hurdles recently and wouldve needed career best to beat the fav so nothing crazy about an SP of 6/1, imo.

Sadly no one put a claim in for ferryman.  Obviously capable of so much more that no one wanted it.

2 claims put in for the the 2nd and 4th to make sure they took them home

Don't know about that delta, everything so far been geared to settling him down!

Dan, sp is irrelevant. It's on here which counts. Around 8.4 or 8.6 the last i noticed. Been 3.5 all day. That's a big drift by anyones standards. Ridden like that after such a big drift needs an investigation imo. I wasn't looking at the place market so don't know how big the drift was on there.

When i say SP i mean BF SP. I hope betfair/bha do look into who's doing the laying whenever there's a massive drift on one, but even though i backed him at about 6/1 i can see why he'd be very weak.

Before you say it...i didn't realise he drifted all the way out to 9! I backed it late enough.

Dan, sorry didn't realise betfair sp was 6/1. Don't ever look at that. It's the drift and the ride combined that means it really has to be looked at tho i must admit even if there had been no drift at all that ride needs a lot of explaining.
