6.40 Punch Yesterday - Resettled Markets

Yes - its happened to me as well - at the moment down 547.70

No explanation as yet!!!!

Poor show as ever. Take everyone's money so they can't get bets on, no post at top of forum beforehand. Presume it will be sorted but still.

Also now have a minus account, just asked & they said they were in the process of sorting it out.

Is it to do with De Valira being down as both RR and withdrawn on ATR?

just tried ringing, no ones picking up as f**king usual at Betfair.

My account just been deducted aswell, was confused as to why but seemed to have a lay on the 6.40 yesterday which was settled reopened.

Cheers for the notice betfair! just casually take money out of my account why don't you, f**k it.. we don't need an explanation or anything..

I just phoned betfair and they said they was given wrong information on the result or somethng  but the result is known but they have to wait for confIrmation !!! dont they watch ATR ???? OR SEE THE RACING POST???
Now I cant bet until my winning lay is paid out  !!!

The race was 17.5 hrs ago and they cant sort it out !!!! excuses was all i got, they simply do not care, if they did then why not give everyone a free £10 bet then !!!

on statement it has fix where they have took my lay money but not returned my liability.

Betfair told me they got "wrong information" from the track   ...You couldnt make it up !!!!!

Maybe one of top 3 has tested positive for summat ...

I layed Nadiya De La Vega... finished 5th, I watched the race and i'm 100% sure that f**ker didn't win

reinstate previously matched bets on De Valira
readjust matched bets that were adjusted by the removed runners reduction factor
void bets matched since the non-runner (only applies if a reduction factor was applied)

a horse fails to start maybe it was deemed a non runner now its been decided it was a runner

Looks like this will only affect De Valira layers/backers

but I didnt back or lay this horse  so why not they settled my bet ???

They cannot manage bets in each horse individualy, they have to re-settle the whole market

i've been repaid out now

me too  just a minute after I deposited money in, now put it back in me bank grrr

Can I suggest that you all run larger banks or at least don't bet the whole bank on a single race. Not a good risk profile imvho.

My problem with this is when did this rule come into effect?

Because a few months ago I smashed into one Stateside which won. The problem was one of the runners had to be removed from the stalls and Betfair accidently made the incorrect horse a non runner so all bets were voided.

At the time I accepted it even though me backing said winner had no relation whatsoever to their mistake.

And then several months on I get this email about the same issue....Will be taking up said issue when I get home....will need to find the bets I made and build my case to betfair. Probably get told to f off but If a rule exists then why wasn't it implemented before.
