Solwhit for me.

Quevega is a class mare, but only races twice a year beating just mares.

Solwhit has taken on the best available and won easily, 6/4 good price.

Looking forward to it.

Quevega at 2/1 seems massive, considering she receives 7lb.And she has beaten both sexes in this race before. Can't help thinking Solwhit has had it easy in his races, maybe not beating much, what with Celestial Halo second and Whisky Oscar pulled up at Cheltenham.

I am on Solwhit.

I backed him at Cheltenham as I thought he was value if he got the trip, which he did, and he had the ideal profile going into the race - He was getting better.

I backed him again at Aintree and I think this was an even more impressive performance, and I think he has more to give.

I have backed him again today, as I think he will continue to improve, he is such a gutsy performer, he generally performs better in Ireland.

Two obvious negatives - The last 2 races will have taken their toll.  And Russell is back in the seat instead of my personal preference, Carberry.

Promises to be a cracker!!

People pick the holes in his form, but the same came be said for the Doris....
