No such thing as a racing journalist these days
. Investigive journalist ? forget it ![]() Racing reporters , yes. Report what is safe, reader friendly, and un-opinionated , all day long ![]() Is no racing journalist of the opinion that Robert Thorton is not the jockey he was, and that Wayne Hutchinson is far better, and that Alan King is niave to pretend that this is not the case. Once its on page 6 off the racing post, all readers will nod their heads and say "true dat" , well said Mr Journalist. Then they can tell us that Mark Johnson has less idea about his horses form than Dave Yates. And again . us readers can say "true dat" ![]() ![]() |

And I cannot wait for the Thursday Column.Just what will the Champion of Multiculturalism make of the Suarez affair... Hold The Press..He has only had four days to write his piece..Or perhaps we will be treated to another "snooker loopy" column... That was a joke.... |

If you can clean sh ite out of kennels then you are the right man for the job...
Clearly knows nothing about Gambling (a self-confessed loser) but can brown nose with the best of them... ![]() When the Sporting Life (a much missed daily) was taken over by the Racing Post he got the gig as Sports Editor (bring back Derek McGovern) and then climbed the greasy pole to being in charge of halving circulation despite a 50% increase in "Betting Shops." How he has not been head hunted by the Daily Mirror to do a similar job is beyond me.However their circulation has fallen at a faster rate and so he is better off where he is.... |
