Unless of course your idea of a good bet is a 1/10 shot and even that was far from impressive.

The two money horses ran absolute shockers for no apparant reason. Not for the first time it is Davy Condon picking up the pieces - is he as effective on favourites?

Used to believe that Irish racing was much more likely to give punters a chance but rapidly need to revise that view. If the condition races are throwing up unfathomable results on a regular basis you are just left with a succession of impossible big-field handicaps. Punters are not going to keep hitting their heads against a brick wall for ever.
