Out of touch with their customers. They honestly believe that people would rather see their preview (waffle) of the Punchestown race rather than a live contest from a UK track. Hopefully a few more tracks will defect to RUK before much longer.

then a grade 1  raceLaughLaughLaughLaugh

They could show both, OK they might have to have Punchestown in a splitscreen for the first minute but the reason they aren't showing Taunton is so the presenters can have their say about the Punchestown race.

Anyone who has the IQ of more than a peanut would rather watch a live race than listen to the morons from ATR previewing a race

They are contracted to show British racing from half our racecourses.  If they won't do it then let someone else do it.  Next it will be the French stuff with Chapman live on course.  They still haven't replayed the Ffos Las races from yesterday and probably never will.  They need a sharp kick up the ar se.

surely only a question of time as more tracks look to join up with the quality that RUK have, just 1 more year of Ascot, then donnie for a classic, a welsh national and not much else..bar Gary O'Brien and Hugh taylor nothing is what the channel offers..

They would rather show an interview with Jimmy Nesbitt

I have switched ATR off in favour of listening to a commentary of the Taunton race.

id much rather watch a class 5 novice handicap worth less than 3k to the winner than the irish gold cup buildup..yeah right

ATR rather interview a clearly INEBRIATED, non-entity,  Nesbitt - than show TAUNTON race live.

The fact the 2 races didn't even clash shows the decision in an even worse light.
