Just awful - who let him out of his box?

Although I find his overall style to be fatuous  -

- and his gushing insincerity overwhelming -

His commentaries are, in fact, quite precise and competent.

There is a place for them at such as the seaside holiday meetings - or 'booze and band' nights .......

But his style and 'enthusiasm' does not befit a serious meeting such as the Craven.

He called the wrong horse in the lead at the furlong pole,was about 2 lengths behind and going backwards.

I cannot stand the cretins voice .

I mute the sound when hes on - his lip smacking once cost my pet hamster its life ( poor sod )

If you listen to him when they are loading the stalls its all gumph about the jockeys  hobbies, where they stay or previous adventures.. nothing to do with likely pacemakers or hold up horses, who has plum draw, pedigrees etc..... shows him up for the chancer he is. Actually quite like him doing his roving reporter role but simply not acceptable commentary wise, not entirely his fault as the buck stops with who puts him in that job and it says all you need to know about the incompetence of who is running racing that they continue to subject us to it

Anger management is needed I feel.

Bookmakers run the sport , without them there wouldnt be a sport .

The more losers there are the better .

Nobody ever talks about the importance of "value" betting . They only ever seem to pick the likeliest winner and as we know NOBODY CAN WIN LOOKING FOR WINNERS .

I never seem to win on any race he commentates on?. Same with that useless half cut Australian?.

His commentaries are about as accurate as a Green Party Political Broadcast.

Agreed with earlier poster, I dont mind his commentaries

it's not a easy job,but he was all over the place in the first two races.
younger man's game,should spend more time on is tipping lines.

The lip-smacking But the simple fact is, he's not fit to commentate on a donkey Derby on the beach at Great Yarmouth
