Bf fix odds reduction factor were also 30% and i thought they were right, cause at the time i placed the bet the price of the
withdrawed horse was 2/1, it drifted all day and ended up at 5.5. |
|
By:
the price of the horse when you place the bet is irrelevant. by that logic if i backed a horse and at the time horse A was 100/1, got backed in to 2/1 then got with drawn in a show at 2/1 there would be no rule 4

By:
theking that is not so, some bookies take the R4 from the 'book prices' when the bet was struck.

right ok, fair enough thanks Sheikeh. from fred's rules though
"For bets at Early Prices, the application of Rule 4 (c) will be determined by the last Betfred price available at the time the horse is withdrawn." so that would suggest that it should be deducted from the price when the horse is withdrawn yes? going to be some humble pie for me if i've got this totally wrong! |

By:
This rule4 from the books prices as Sheikh said makes definately makes more sense imo.

By:
theking if that's their rules then it looks like they are tucking you up, good luck getting it sorted.

Last "Betfred" price not last "show" price, though ??

The r/4 applies to the time YOU struck the bet so whatever price Fahey's was at the time you placed the bet then the R/4applies to that price
Using the logic that the r/4 should apply to the price at time of withdrawal then you should also be getting the price the winner was at time of withdrawal as well..... meaning you cant have Faheys price now and Dods price from earlier Its Settled correctly |
