If they wait three months they will get them at £3 a share.

£3 a share , what a load of bull
are you drunk ? |
|
By:
Harold,
I have taken positions against the share price from £15 downwards. I see them going one way (and it is not up). Feel free to differ in a Democracy. |

indeed, even thou the concept of betfair is world class their profit of 26m in 2011 is very poor, investors want to see at least 5% of the value of the company in profits each year.

betting for shares to fall from £15 I understand .
to say that in 3 months time they will be £3 is wishful thinking . remind me in 3 months time and we shall see seriously , are you drunk ? |
|
By:
Harold,
They are going down. By how much is open to debate. |
|
By:
I am not disputing that they might go down or up . I just think you are in dreamland if you think they will be £3 in 3 months .
we shall see . |

investors only want short term profit or growth, betfair claims in 2011 that their fixed odds site will help with growth, very unlikely imo.
betfair made 26m in 2011 (high divs, i know), you could easily value betfair at less than 500m, considering their might be a rival..... |

I doubt they're interested in taking over a flagging site, that shows severe engine failure on some Saturdays. If pushed, they'd probably pass.

Mind you these F1 guys are used to dealing with "severe engine failure" not only on Saturdays but also on Sundays.
