it was in a NRL game (I am australian), I bet brisbane broncos -2.5 / over 36 pts to be scores, it's a combined bet.. the odds were 3.50

they paid out as if it won which it definately didn't, the final score was 12-10 brisbane won

They may not find out but if and when they do I just assume your account will be debited the amount and you will have a negative balance. They'll no doubt e-mail or write requestion the money back. Up to you I would say if you redress the balance or not.

so if I just used a different bookie and used the whole "it was your **** up" debate, I wont have a problem?

Report Swardean April 12, 2013 2:43 PM BST
They can't and won't do anything.  They may stop the withdrawl if it hasnt been processed but if already gone through they will put you balance as a negative figure.

If you redeposit you will have to cover this negative figure

Report BARROWBOY April 12, 2013 2:50 PM BST
chances are that any winners on that bet will have been marked down as losers so it will all come out in the wash anyway,so they'll adjust your a/c accordingly.ring them up,confess, that way you'll go on their favourite customer list
Report SlippyBlue April 12, 2013 2:54 PM BST

I see what you did, you took my nationality and used it against me in an attempt to make yourself look superior, very good.

Sometimes the world rewards the honest(not often but sometimes).Send them an email admiting what has happened and who knows they might credit it or some of it as a free bet for being honest and if they dont well at least your concience will be clear.

Being owned by PP they may give you a $20 free bet or so for your honesty. Hardly worth sullying your good name for such a piddling amount.
Report Sheikh Handsman Al Mac's Tomb April 12, 2013 3:26 PM BST
Ofcourse morally you should let them know and if you feel that this particular bookmaker has never shafted you in the past then you should ring them up. On the other hand they are bookmakers........Wink
