Why would you lay it if you were initially going to back it?

Probably a race to avoid, if I had to I'd probably lay it. Magnolia Ridge surely has strong claims and at 3/1 seems like a decent price. The other 4 could turn out to be anything.

Should appreciate the step up in trip, but I think i'll give it a swerve at 4/5.

He looked pretty impressive in the Curragh gallop though, which may well be a big factor in the price.

The price is all about that gallop.

I meant lay it now and then back it as it might drift close to race :)

Actually has already drifted little bit, but I think it is best to avoid this race as BlindProbe said, still have not recovered from "Rezwaan" win yday....
