Do very occasionally, but the upshot is too much ground to make up .

They do when I lay them in running.

Its pretty much their way of saying todays not the day.

One lovely way was exhibited at Lingfield today. Tag on to the tail of the field then as the field turn in come 5/6 off the rail and sling shot wide as you can into the straight.......loses around 8-10 lengths in one move. Sublime.

I know they do win, but for instance watch every race again tonight and see where the winner is positioned in every race.

You know your fate as soon as they turn into the straight

Yep. But there are days when the track rides faster stands side !
Report StillLearning April 6, 2013 8:55 PM BST
fair enough Halcyon, didn't really notice the track bias so much until recently, and probably that last winner was slightly wider than normal

useful way to get your horse to drop down the handicap

On a greyhound track its the wide runners that are faster than the railers/mid runners as they invariably

run an extra 40-45 meters because of the wider circumference of their trip and this is why a wide draw

in a big field on the AW can be very bad for a horses chances of winning!

Is there any beginning to your knowledge,BFF?
You are strangely silent on your Pink Panther thread after another losing day.
