There website starts with the following headline and qoute rather than any news on the race itself unbelivable. I get the impression they really are gutted.

Peta: Races are 'accidents waiting to happen'

"No horses died today, but two this week is two too many. Little Josh and Battlefront died for nothing more important than an afternoon's amusement.

Thoroughbreds forced to take part in races are accidents waiting to happen: their legs are too long and fragile for the jumps, and they're pushed literally to the breaking point.

While we have been spared an onslaught today, one thing is certain: as long as people continue to bet on horse races, these beautiful animals will continue to die.

Same type of comments on Sky news aswell, so glad today went well i dont think racing knows how they would have been attacked should there have been a accident today.

Trendies.

The fact there is Animal Aid. ALF. PETA. etc, etc.

I suspect the RSPCA have not given the News Clowns a sufficiently 'Radical' sound byte so they inevitably ask the trendy groups for their comments.

One thing is certain: as long as the earth still spins, these beautiful animals will continue to die.
