Surely a lot better than that Arkle result.

Much the best horse in the race. 4.0 is a gift. The others won't see which way it's gone

Got him in my placepot but not confident enough to back him. Trainer form a worry but one ran well in Topham.

Wouldn't necessarily say he went to soon because that's his style. Plus the winner went with him from the start.

Bit unlucky really, Maguire done the right thing early sitting behind the leader, maybe he kicked on a little early, but I thought he had it turning in.

feared for overturn coming to last, looked out on his feet.

Did he not hit him with the whip before the turn when he was 3 clear and half a mile left? No need to stoke him up that early.

thia track will suit the Halo Kuti

If Maguire had our view and knew the main dangers were making bad mistakes he probably doesn't kick so soon. I can't blame him for kicking on.

Horses cant normally speed up going round a bend........if youv finished the bend & kick U can nick a couple of lenths as there still coming round it.........

@Mange I fear I have missed the boat with Halo as I backed it to win in the World hurdle and but for a mistake at the last I think it would have gone close. I just wonder why Geraghty is on Bears Affair and not Oscar Dara. I am leaning towards that one and to two outsiders Any Given Day and American Spin

I won at Chelt without backing a winner i.e.C,Halo large PL 12.5

This track WILL suit it

Like morpteh mackem,I had my fingers crossed that Overturn would not come to grief at the last.Brilliant horse,ALWAYS gives his best.

Overturn was robbed of that race by the Clerk of the course and his ridiculous watering policy, which is certainly against the spirit of racing and I thought against the rules, or at least official guidelines. Watering was introduced to prevent injuries and was never intended to allow ground to be made artificially softer than good. It's grossly unfair, if you have a good ground horse it hasn't had a prayer all winter because of the weather, and now the weather finally turns and the authorities still won't let you have a chance.

I simply can't believe they have watered ground that was already well on the soft side of good, and that no-one has much to say about it.

Should have missed the Arkle and gone straight to Aintree.Poor judgement from the trainer imo.
