Remember watching this at leafy and thinking the jockey gave it a ridiculously easy time after missing the break and still only just got beat by a horse who went in again next time out. The 3rd has since won also. Not gonna get rich at that sort of price but barring something special from the newcomers this should win

A bit of an alarming drift, especially from that kennel but at 6/4 gotta back it.

Now the conspiracy theorists out there may be recalling that the jockey who gave it a "ridiculously easy time" (IYO) was 'Frank' Spencer, and he was up against a heavily backed one from Ding-Dong's stable that day...

Fwiw, I thought greeness beat Can You Conga that day, who was closing the winner down nicely at the finish.

He looks a chunky sort, who should come on for the run fitness-wise, as well as benefitting from the experience.

So what are the negatives? - obviously the change in surface, why he hasn't been seen for 6 weeks since, and a minor quibble about trap 2 (though it shouldn't matter in this field with the stalls in the centre).

The newcomers don't appear strong in the moment, and if CYC can transfer the ability he showed on the AW to turf, then he has already achieved more accrding to RPRs than those with form.

He makes plenty of appeal at 6-4.

Btw, nearly forgot, Ryan's old mucker Richard Fahey has one in there, so market reference will be essential (imo)!
