Iwas at NEWCASTLE when a regular punter came and asked if he could have a £10 bet on a horse at CHARM PARK P.T.P. AT BEST PRICE.. asked what price it would be and he said about evens. The horse was called OUR SANDY which won at 5/4.. COULD ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT PRICE IT HAD BEEN as he will be ringing up to confirm the best price

I know that the Tony Charlesworth enterprise opened up at 4/5 and biggest price he went was 11/8.
Our floorman said it touched 6/4 in places.
Heard a rumour that one of the bookies opened it up at 7/1.
(Not sure whether this is true or not, as i'd nipped for a couple of butties and a bit of cake.)

one book opened 16 ,yes 16 mad rush think he layed 16 score then went 7,then was always about 5/4.
How would you know that the t/c enterprise opened up at that exact price Radgepot?

I think if I returned him 2/1 for his tenner he will be more than satisfied. 16/1 seems outrageous. would probably wanted each way if you could get on at that price

Roy777... If you have agreed to pay 'best price', then surely you should pay at 16/1. I'm sure you're a man of honour and will not renege on an agreement.
