That is why  at least 98% of anything you may choose to read from so called tipsters that charge is total bullsh!t.

one way they could do it is if they are very good at  it for what ever reason,they could give every main fancy they have for the day bar there most important info, and lump on that one horse or two horses a week with your cash.

If you could make 5k a month why would you need a few hundred extra from subscriptions to put on the cert?

The price is everything.

If you win you can't get the prices any more.

Therefore it makes sense to sell the bets to people who can (this doesn't include obviously, the Racing Post profit share telephone tipsters, who exist of course, just to pick off the not that bright)...

I agree with Money Tree.  You'd keep a successful system to yourself.  A lot of tipsters have used the argument that they can't get money on their bets even through the period when Betfair didn't have any charges other than commission.  They could have had 8 or 9 years of unlimited bets on here. It's just smoke and mirrors.  Plus some of these tipsters expect their customers (supposedly hundreds of them if you believe some of the blurb) to put hundreds of pounds on each bet.  Their 'advised prices' would just be decimated in the blink of an eye.
Also, these customers would surely then have their accounts rapidly closed wouldn't they?  However they'd have paid their subscription in advance so no skin off the tipster's nose, and there's always been a fresh supply of cannon fodder from their adverts.  However I think their golden years are coming to an end as the internet spreads the word, rather than the captive audience of the racing press and the glossy mailshot.

I suppose I lay myself open to being 'a habitual loser' by the tipster fraternity.  I admit, I certainly used to be, until I stopped using tipsters.

My point is finishingpost that there is an infinite number of ways to approach betting - everyone needs to find their own method of success and has no right to decry the stratagies employed by others.

If you are unsuccessful, poor and unhappy you simply end up arguing with everyone and typing immature lies and nonsense like ngu.

Even if a source can buy the odd piece of information to pass on, once they establish believers it would be cheaper to throw

in a load of rubbish that cost nothing to find, thus by paying someone a regular wage you simply have no control

on the quality of information other than closing you account with them, which they then find more bums for more seats...
