scoobytoo - looks like ruk has deffo speeded up.....c1s behind the live feed...so the ? now is

1. is this temporary or permanent
2. if temp it proves that the speed can be improved by muting the sound

sound was only muted on SD boxes was ok on HD boxes

A theory.......the long discussed HD switchover has happened and this screwed up the sound in non HD boxes. Due to the new super duper fibre optics they mentioned, the pics have also speeded up (hooray), but when they actually come to transmit in HD they will slow down again, possibly much slower than before (boo). All educated guesswork, of course....

usain bolt is unbeatable over 100m...however he will finish last every race giving 1 sec start away...

Not true Mr Hunt - depends who he is racing against - some of them track boys need a lot more than a second head start imo

there's value prices very late in races for the first time since I've been playing but that's always been from home.

Live video faster than SIS, RUK same as Turf tv.  No reason to leave the house and play inrunning now.
This can only be good news for liquidity. Even the track players should be happy. Good news for everyone.

All this should be good news for decent racereaders on and off course but turnover levels dont seem to have increased on the RUK tracks since
it has speeded up.

agreed but the fact liquidity has not increased noticeably implies the in running game is predominantly made up of people who play live or turf not home players ......liquidity appears to be at an all time low and we all know why that is!!!

Representations to BF need to be made by the big PC payers? Or have they.

It is obviously in all there interests to increase liquidity whilst having a fair `tax' system on the huge winners?

what makes you think betfair care??? there are umpteen threads on the general betting forum in recent months from full timers etc all pointing out betfairs arrogance, lack of customer service ethos culture etc...betfair wouldn't even know there was a liquidity problem its management are oblivious to change or critcism

andy , RUK hasn't even had 1 month of speeds being quicker . it's not a very long time so I don't think you can expect liquidity to improve in such a short time . that and the fact that betfiar are not promoting it at all
