Opened a new account last weekend. 2 deposits. Lost £213. Account closed this weekend. Didn't even use or claim a bonus of any amount.
Disgusting that they are allowed to advertise on tv or anywhere for that matter.

they'll tell you that you are stupid enough to use the same IP address on a new account.

Only ever bet on the phone so can't imagine my iip address comes into it.
Am just pointing out so anyone else who thinks about opening an account with them won't do so.
If u don't like the subject then u don't have to read it by the way.
I have other accounts that don't react like this after less than a week. At least they can last 6 months sometimes.

If you pick your own they will not close your account imo. The pattern of bets from tipster sources is so fecking easy for em to spot. Change your ways and stop whingeing.

Saddo, why would bookmakers close tipster related accounts when the vast majority on here seem to think that tipsters are rubbish?

Out of my6 tipsters I follow I only back 3 of them on the phone for exactly that reason. Never back Hugh Taylor or pricewise using an account anymore. And as for picking my own, I have done that for 15 years and lost so won't be going down that route again.

I'd give the game up - if you're relying on other people's selections to make a profit.

Facts - why would I want to give up a nice 2nd income? There is no rule which says u can't follow tipsters. I have followed hundreds and lost but have now found 6 who make a profit.
The bookies didn't stop me when I lost a small fortune but they soon say no when u win or look as though u might win. How is this 'fair'? There must be something in the laws when they apply for a licence that can be highlighted to stop them getting new licences.

I opened a new one also on a new ip address and new PC so no way it could be linked with another account.
After 2 days I was limitted to small stakes. Fortunately I was able to get enough on a few football matches to reach to bonus turnover requirements.

Someone gave me a lads account a while back also. They had opened it for a free bet and had only backed a few losers. I used it for months and months unlimitted. At one stage I was 12.5k down doing mainly football. Then I backed a few winners at Cheltenham and got it back to £6.5k down. Went from unlimmited straight to max stake zero!!
Youd have thought theyd have at least waited until I was in profit!

So can't you back a tipster's selection on here, or are they so successful that you would be paying the premium charge.

Kate Miller of William Hill actually admitted this to me when I complained of account restrictions on twitter.

She also got the restrictions lifted, even after admitting that it was an unprofitable account for William Hill.

The account is now basically workable, although not completely unlimited.

A small victory in a war that has some way to go, perhaps.

Taking the best price is not allowed, backing horses that shorten is not allowed, beating SP is not allowed, backing horses that are already shorter on here is not allowed, and obviously, winning is not allowed - these, unequivocally, are the rules of the game now.

Unless of course, you are reading the Racing Post or watching ATR, RUK and C4, when the absolute opposite of the above will be presented as the truth, for no other reason than that these thoroughly disingenuous media platforms are posturing to represent punters, while actively working in commercial partnership with the bookmaking industry...

Sparrow. U can't back on here as the prices simply are not available. Most of my bets are cut in price dramatically. That is where most of the profit is.
Mill house is spot on. I take best price, back horses that shorten, beat sp, follow tipsters and make a profit. Everything bookmakers hate.
So it isn't a surprise that they shut me down but 5 days and having made a loss is surely ridiculous. That was my point. If u win over 6 months say or even 1 month bu t 5 days AND a loss????

I've had a few accounts with Bet365, and they went from being far the best on-line bookmaker, to being one of the worst. Victor Chandler and Stan James are vying for that title.

They were one of the last to bring in restrictions, in my own particular case, but it was inevitable they would given that all shrewd punters were being forced to their doors.

My last account with them using different id, different debit cards, and different ip address didn't last long. It was restricted to coppers very soon, but not closed altogether. Their explanation of why did not make particular sense which leads me to think that they are using methods like iesnare (mentioned before on here), which, whilst being legal in this country, has been banned in some more enlightened countries e.g. Australia. If you google "iesnare", you will find sites where you can check to see if your machine is "inflicted. There are also sites that give you the means to rid yourself of it.

I'm not saying Bet365 are using this, but I do suspect Ladbrokes are. Check to see if you've got it, and report back here with the on-line accounts you use, to try and see if there's a correlation so that we can spot the "culprits".

In my preference for closing down customers. The worst being at the top
and the best at the bottom.

1. CORALS
2. LADCROOKES
3. BOYLES
4. BALDFRED
5. SKYBET
6. SPORTINGBET
7. STAN JAMES
8. B365
9. TOTE
10.BILL HILLS
11.BET VICTOR
12.BLUE SQUARE
13.PADDY POWER

Thats just my experience of the lot of them.
The fact, that most of them rip you off with short price favs and 2nd favs (bog priced bookmakers not included in this) shows you, what a dishonest lot they all are and should you dare have a winner or two above 5/1, they hate it and close you down quick.

A familiar tale I'm afraid. These days you barely get as far as winning. Their closure emails should simply say "Your account is losing, but we don't like the way you lose, sir".

Alias, you are spot on.

I had to laugh the other day, when a couple of the Racing Post's latest panel of 'experts' put up 'shopping around for the best price' as their betting advice for the coming season, when thanks entirely to their complicity, doing this is absolutely not allowed...

Chavman, fabulous - believe it or not, because I use the phone for all my accounts now I am paranoid and try and have a different voice for each account. I hold my nose on one of them. Ridiculous I know but I will go to whatever lengths I can in order to beat them!

Saddo - the work I put in just to put a bet on is ridiculous so where your statement comes from I have no idea.

While I don´t want to defend any bookmaker, I have to say that I have never once had a problem with 365, despite having 5 consecutive winning years.

On the other hand, my VC and Boyle accounts have been closed and my SJ account has been subject to limits.

I remember saying similar things about them before my first account went tits up. The account was 3 years old, I was winning a small fortune, they were still giving me free tenners on a regular basis, and then bang. No more account. 4 accounts later, and it's impossible to get a proper bet with them.

Enjoy them while it lasts, gentlemen.
