I like Inis Meain EW, ground and trip no problem at all, but a poor draw, although as a natural front runner, it may not be such a disadvantage. I've napped it in the comps ............ and that is always a negative

Inis Meain and Shifting both won a hcap at Listowel on sep21 over same distance and IM was 3.2secs quicker and it was a very impressive run. I have him on 104 so 5lb in hand of his mark. My main doubt is Hogan's horses in the last 14 days have been disapppointing

I know little to nothing about flat racing (especially Irish!) but looking at the profiles, seems to me that the best bet available is Shifting e/w at 12/1.
Won't mind the ground, 2nd in a valuable race LTO and plenty of scope to progress, being aged only 4. Appears well treated too.
I'll have a few quid on this dreary Sunday afternoon anyway.

well personally i think the chances of tandem depend on whether he has improved since last seen. runs here off 95 and i would be pretty sure he didn't run anywhere near that mark when fourth to chamonix last time. even allowing for the fact he didn't stay that day, it was a disappointing effort for me. i think his previous runs also are no better than a 90 rated horse but it may be he has improved for a break, especially being lightly raced.
the comments in the racing post that this could safely be narrowed down to four, is one of the most ridiculous statements i've read. looks wide open to me and i could give a decent chance to about ten of the runners.
good luck to all having a bet.

If you back ten in the Lincoln i doubt you will make a profit, but the four mentioned in the R. POST, you might just might make a nice profit. They have all got a "Squeak"

and you could easily back the four mentioned in the racing post and lose. if i have a bet it will certainly be an each way bet, maybe macbeth though even hujaylea who is 110 on here could be given a chance on his last run when fourth to famous name, though the ground could be against that one, but that is how wide open this race is i think.
