They must be in good health because otherwise it would be madness to rate Our Conor on a line through Far West.

I have noticed using surveys that the form for both the turf flat and NH jumps all dropped off

last year dramatically for all the uk trainers and the wettest year on record must have made

the training gallops unworkable as well as causing so many non runs for horses.

To assume this didn't make an impact on the current quality of racing fitness with the continuation

of the coldest march since 1970s would be folly.

It's a worry

I am  have been planning to have a maximum bet on his BURY ROAD next time. He is entered up in a decent novices chase at Ludlow on Thursday. It's quite a hot little race but if running to his best Bury Parade has a good 10lb in hand over everything in my ratings

But that is what this thread is about, Will he run to his best

At the moment the dregs are running.
I wouldn't be worrying just yet.

The race at Ludlow is over two and a half miles. Every time Bury Parade has run over more than 2 miles he's flopped. Looks like a 2 miler to me.

yes Bury Road is a 150 horse on my ratings and should win comfortably on Thursday. If he runs poorly then I will be annoyed but at least we will have a stronger clue

In light of my thoughts that would be the last thing I'd do....especially as it will be a short price.

Not in the slightest.Mischief
In fact I'm seriously thinking of leaving it alone this year and concentrating on Golf and Tennis and the odd summer jumps race.

Get myself good and fresh for when the proper season starts in October.Happy

Sounds brilliant.
Lets hope the weather improves before the Dante and they get some decent ground.
Mind you if it improves too much the twerps will probably start watering.Sad
