Lack of ability to control its methane output due to too many chips and blue pop suppers.

I lived there for 18 months in the late 70s
Darlaston one of the suburb towns was the only place I have seen that really looked like " dark satanic mills" . And that was the High St.

This thread seems to be working to relieve Pre cheltenham nerves, now time for some Black country logic to sort out those early winners.in the supreme, chemical nickys is a bit short but form got a solid look to it with the pipe horse running a goodun in the imperial and very likely too go close if not win the coral? But i must admit will be surprised if the unexposed mullins(for ireland) dont take this he must know where he stands with most of these, expect an irish black country slap on the back you wonderful bookie fellows!

Tip'n and Wolver are the best places in my experience, but I have been advised to give Walsall a go.

A betting shop manager who works in Wolver but lives in WB, said the best pubs out there ( baggy land) are Indian. He also said that a good pub in Wolver is the Lych Gate, and it is, imo.
Great Western and Blue Brick are both alright.

Mate of mine gave Bilston a great write up, but I have to admit i was disappointed. The Weatherspoons in Wolver is much better , imo.

And a special note to cable thieves: please don't pinch the signal cable on the railways this year. A few years back, coming on the train from Cheltenham after the Gold Cup,  we had to limp out of Brum New St all the way to Stafford at 15mph, bc somebody had pinched the signalling cable!
Two jockeys, who were supposed to be riding at Wolver that evening were caught up in the delay, and must have missed their rides. Eventually, we did get to Wolver, but missed a few races.

Talk about glutton for punishment!

I always ended up at Blast Off here looking for those indie girls, I can't rememeber the names of a lot of the places, there was somewhere in the centre of town, I think there were railings outside, lots of windows, bands played upstairs...
