i dont bet in running but , to anyone who does ,wonder if they have got something in the pipeline??

in there manifesto says fairer in running delays           . in there t&cs says

In-running delays - Terms and Conditions •    B  E T D A Q aims to provide markets that put all members on a level playing field when betting in-running. B  E  TD  A Q will continuously monitor in-running markets and seek to implement optimal in-running delays to achieve this aim.

think they joined up racetech???

To give you a clue;when BF was down yesterday you could not Lay a horse in the Imperial Cup pre off  unless you went at least double their actual price.
In Running is even worse (if that was actually possible).BDaq depends on their Bot to "flimp" trades but, this requires BF to be working.
A complete shower of excrement,imo.
Report Wilson1975 March 10, 2013 8:01 PM GMT
yeah , is fair to say that , but in the bigger picture say they had a live stream via racetech from the track , betting in running liquidity would rocket , and with that so would the pre race.

just a thought

It will never happen,Wilson.
Report Wilson1975 March 10, 2013 8:06 PM GMT
your probably right ,but in time anything is possible , as technology improves maybe it could be viable . who knows

By the way,Racetech only have the Rights to screen On Course.,
SIS and Turf Tv own the Rights for Off Course viewing for their respective Courses.

No chance of in running or anything else being a success unless they can lure in the real liquidity providers ie the punters and to do that they need to have to offer the punters a knockout deal of 1 or 2% commission
Report racingstar March 10, 2013 8:14 PM GMT
BD need the "losers" that flesh out the BF In Running Markets.
Zero Commission for Losers and 5% for the biggest winners would be a start.
Report Wilson1975 March 10, 2013 8:17 PM GMT
be no good for me as i is awful at in running anyway !!
Report racingstar March 10, 2013 8:19 PM GMT
The suggestion was for the Site in general,Wilson, not just In Running.
Report Wilson1975 March 10, 2013 8:22 PM GMT
ok , things have picked up over there quite a lot over the last year , for trading and my stakes, i have found it more than workable ,moved about 75% of my stuff over there ,since the 2nd tier of pc came in

They might be considering changing the one second delay ? Fwiw I can't see it I proving anything
Report middleman March 10, 2013 9:28 PM GMT
Thats how i read it Biscar. They will make it a 3 or 4 second delay which isnt workable at all for anyone.
Report racingstar March 10, 2013 9:36 PM GMT
The Site holder does not have any delay.
The talk of an introduction of any such delay is utterly ridiculous.
In Running would cease to exist.
Report Wilson1975 March 10, 2013 9:36 PM GMT
might get rid of it!!
Report racingstar March 10, 2013 9:44 PM GMT
No delay means nothing if there is FA in the Market, does it.

Purple site is a joke at the moment , i log in for 5 mins every couple off weeks and no change in liquidity

This place has its problems but its good have an IR market you can get more than £3 backed and layed

Not enough money in the markets to split between BF and BD. What makes BF successful is the liquidity in the markets any decrease would cause us all problems. The big boys who run BF will not be enticed away, therefore BD will always be an ailing supplicant.

They were seeding the golf twoball matches yesterday with the laddies prices.

If enough small stakes clients leave here purely on account of the lesser commission charges before long

this exchange would feel the pinch.
Report DOUBLED March 11, 2013 3:33 PM GMT
But Betfair stifling liquidity with its punitive charges and the in-running game is dying a slow painful death on here - something needs to change
Report miprixabloater March 11, 2013 3:36 PM GMT
I have been a betfair client for nearly 12 years but over the PC charges I

have no loyalty for or to them whatsoever, they by their own hand are slaying

a once was wonderful betting concept.
Report Jinxy1 March 11, 2013 3:37 PM GMT
Despite aht some would have you beleive, in running trading on betfair is alive and kicking.
Report miprixabloater March 11, 2013 3:39 PM GMT
Jinxy but the minnows are not so easy to net these days.
