I remember they boosted his price last year and kept the cash...

He has proved numerous he doesn't stay has he not?

Wouldn't back him at 6/1. The pace will be tough and he won't get up the hill. RDS is my Cheltenham banker bet!

Raised 17lb for his last win. Couldn't give it a chance. The Pipe horse for me. Has been for a while. The name? Grand Crus. Had it on here at 44s. RDS was beaten by Big Bucks 9 lengths in a canter giving 9lbs. Big Bucks beat GC 1.75l in this race at levels. OW won't stay.

Its not a handicap so weight is not relevant.  All depends on ground. If its bottomless Rev De Sivola is the one to be on, but i'd fancy Oscar Whisky to reverse form with RDS on better ground.

Grand Crus at a big price EW is not a terrible bet, but he isn't the horse he was when coming second to Big Buck's 2 years ago.

Troll? RDS was raised 17lbs for beating Oscar Whisky on heavy ground in a race run in nearly a minute slower than average. Far and away the highest rating he has ever achieved. Otherwise he would be 20lbs behind Grand Crus. I know there is a risk but he is far and away the best horse in the race. Works for me.

i suppose you could argue it's a good price considering he was 4/1 last year taking on the greatest staying hurdler ever and is now 6/1 in a much weaker race

although i still don't like it, 0/3 at the festival (beaten in the supreme, champion and world hurdle) and probably not a stayer

That could be true but this is a weaker affair. When RDS met Big Bucks he was 33s whereas GC was 7/2.

Wonderful Charm will be bet on on the day if he turns up, as will Get Me Out of Here.

Imv Oscar Whisky is a cracking 10 quid bet at 6-1 unless it's really soft.

Set that alarm. 6/1 is a great price, get on everyone. This guy is a great horse, would have won last years champion hurdle (probably), as long as the ground is no worse than good to soft he'll hack up.

Just tried to back £50 at 6/1....rejected bet and offered £15 at 6/1 and £35 at 4/1. I declined their offer and tried to place a new £15 bet at 6/1 however they wont accept it cos I declined their previous offer !

Can get £20.00 E/W in shops. Decent bet as well since Monksland, Quevega and Solwhit all short in betting and likely to not run.

Put in with some multiples and you will get far more on if that's the way you want to go.
